Welcome to Chaturanga
...an interdisciplinary fitness studio located in the heart of Hyde Park.
Chaturanga means “four limbs,” a name that reflects our four areas of instruction: yoga, pilates, meditation, and dance. Among these four pursuits is a lifetime’s opportunity to cultivate awareness, challenge mental and physical edges, and harmonize mind, body, spirit, and heart.
As beautifully diverse as our community are the intentions we bring to our practice. What are yours? ...Physical strength? Energetic calm? Pain-free posture? Emotional Healing?
Whatever today is handing you, our beautiful studio makes an inviting oasis, and our instructors able guides, on the everlasting journey to know the truth of who you are.

Chaturanga is a way of life. A few years ago I went through a negative life changing event. Chaturanga was my “Prozac.”
I’m so grateful to Marylee and the other instructors. Many days class was the only thing that was positive.
Thank you. Love the place.
I first came to Chaturanga over two years ago, and it’s easily my favorite place in Hyde Park…I always leave relaxed and happy! The studio is clean and well maintained, with nice mats and equipment.
This place is as good as it gets! The teachers are absolutely fantastic, and the facility is great. This is my favorite place in Hyde Park! The variety of classes they offer is really amazing, and they have a variety of times for every class so it's easy to find something that works with your schedule.
Chaturanga has really improved my life over the last few years--I couldn't recommend it more highly!
Chaturanga is not just a place where I get my couple times a week yoga fix, it's a community. I feel supported there in my practice, and I feel like I have definitely become more mindful of my practice there.
This is a wonderful place. Come and find your peace here. The instructors and owner are very knowledgeable…It feels like personal attention every time. Love it here.
I really lucked out, getting such an encouraging team of people. They're…constantly reminding me and others in the class to modify exercises as we see fit for whatever issues we have - back pain, hip pain, etc. and will give instructions on how to do so. I really love these people!
Dear Chaturanga teachers and staff, you all have saved my life in so many ways!...With deep appreciation for all you do!
All of the instructors are incredibly kind and welcoming. I love that they make a point to ask our names and make it a personal experience. I’m so grateful for this space!
Coming here has truly been a blessing and inspiration. I enjoy the instructors…how they care and pay attention to individuality. It helps strengthen my body from MS and fibromyalgia and all the other ailments I have to deal with. So I love it.
At 70, learning new ways of moving and breathing has been an eye opener. Classes are not only instructional but motivating and fun.
